PATH Resource Centre

The PATH Resource Centre is a storefront operation in the North End of Winnipeg open to providing a range of resources and services for individuals engaged in a variety of employment-related activities.  Some participants come to the centre looking for assistance with housing, health and other social issues, while other participants are seeking career counselling, help with a resume, or the development of a job search plan.  Whatever the need of the participant, staff at the centre try to provide the service directly or will refer to other dedicated services.

The PATH Resource Centre is also committed to developing partnerships with employers to assist in providing qualified candidates from the centre’s employment ready client group.

Our hours of operation are 8:30 am – 4:30 pm Monday to Friday.

PATH Resource Centre History
Through a strategic planning process, the Employment Development System Committee identified a need to provide North End residents with in-depth career planning supports and services, as well as life skills assessments.  In response to this gap in services, the PATH Resource Centre was born, and opened its doors in October 2000.

The acronym PATH stands for “Planning Alternative Tomorrows with Hope”.  As the name suggests, PATH assists individuals achieve employment and life goals by working with them to develop plans of action that lead to the removal of barriers thus opening doors to a successful transition to long-term, sustainable employment.

The PATH Resource Centre has seen significant growth since its inception, and it continues to successfully provide valuable services and resources to North End community residents.  Some of the services and resources you can find at the centre include:
