5-Year Community Plan
(2006 - 2011)
In February 2006, the NECRC Board of Directors approved a planning process to build on past efforts, solicit critical input form community partners, and to set a broad strategic direction that could guide community renewal efforts by NECRC and its partners.
The planning process involved a large steering committee of approximately 40 individuals drawn from NECRC Board, staff, community partners, and stakeholders. The steering committee endorsed the planning process and met many times to come up with a new Five-Year Strategic Plan from 2006-2011.
This is a North End Community Plan Initiative coordinated by the North End Community Renewal Corporation, in consultation and collaboration with a wide variety of partners. The resulting goals encompass a broad range of planning and activities identified by community stakeholders.
These goals will be pursued collaboratively through communication and coordination among community stakeholders.
